US Road Trip Recap
To round out the end of this crazy year, figured I would officially answer all of the burning questions everyone had for me post my crazy New York to California and back again Tesla road trip adventure.

What was the coolest place I visited?
Tbh, I don’t have an answer to this question, much to the chagrin of pretty much every single damn person that asked me this question. The truth is, every place was pretty freaking amazing. Even the ones that I would never go back to again because, well, I’m good. Which brings me to the next most popular question…
What place would I go back to again?
Now this is an easy one. But the list is unfortunately too long to be realistic.
Milwaukee in the summertime so I can rent a boat and paddle board down the river and wash down all the fun in the sun with a beer fresh from a brewery.
Las Vegas, after this corona-nonsense is under control, so I can get lit on the strip and just wander and dance and have a ridiculous time with my friends.
Yellowstone, but to legit hike this time.
The national parks in Utah. I visited Arches, which was beyond awesome, but next on my list would probably be the neighboring Canyonlands park.
Louisville, since we were there for another mandatory curfew
Where would I never go back to, ever?
The World’s Only Corn Palace was for sure a one and done for me.
The town of Wall, South Dakota. I believe I described it at the time as a sub-par Disneyland-esque place for people who love cheesy ass fake country towns. For the record, Wall also doubles as the biggest disappointment of the entire adventure (yes, it wins in this category over the corn palace).
Mount Rushmore - I’m glad I saw it just because, but when I say we literally spent about 15 minutes here (after paying for parking and driving up a mountain) I might be exaggerating.
Are there any places I wanted to make it to but didn’t?
Honestly, probably. However, this trip was so incredible that if I was really that bummed about missing a single stop along the way I’d have some serious issues.
Other road trips I'd like to take?
Everywhere. I'm a glutton for punishment (apparently) and I always need to one-up myself and my latest and greatest adventures.
The Southern US is still on my list in a big way. I'd love to spend more time in Arizon (other than the 10 minutes I spent driving through the very NorthWest corner of it). I want to find the musical highway in New Mexico even though it's probably way far off the beaten path (aka I'd probably have to reconsider whether a Tesla could make the drive). I even want to drive through the veritable wasteland that is Western Texas (so I'm told) just because it sounds like quite the experience even if it does last for a few more hours than is realistically palatable.
